Gas Oil, or Red Diesel, is used primarily in the agricultural sectors and for heating appliances. Also known as Gas Oil (for heating) and Diesel Fuel (for automotive/agricultural uses), Red Diesel has a number of different uses commercially. It can be used for powering tractors, cranes, generators, boats and other plant and machinery equipment.
We offer Gas Oil in bulk quantities, and all of our Gas Oil conforms to the latest British Standard – BS 2869:2010. All the Gas Oil is low in sulphur and can contain up to 7% volume of biodiesel too. This can help you reduce your emissions and save non-renewable fuel sources where possible.
Fuel Storage Problems
Due to the increase of Biodiesel in Gas oil, some users who store fuel for longer periods of time have experienced fuel filter blockages and bacterial growth in their tanks. To avoid such things happening it is recommended to use fuel additives such as Anti Bug or Gas Oil Conditioner. Red Diesel additives including Gas Oil Supreme for modern vehicles calibrated on EN590 DERV are available on request.
